with PCs that have been joined to the domain. The way Windows works is to
cache the PW locally so that the user can log in even if the PC isn’t on
the LAN. The simplest way that I have found to make this happen is with a
PPTP VPN connection. When you log into Windows XP there is a choice to
log in with a dialup network connection. If they do that, then it will
act just like they were on the LAN. Otherwise, I’ve never found a good
way to change the cache’d password. Even if they do it on OWA or
TS, when they log onto the local PC, it will be with the old password and
logging onto OWA or TS will be with the new password, until they connect back
to the LAN.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
