called XIBO. Its still in a growing stage but works great for us.
You essentially install it on a server and then connect remote pc
clients. You simply schedule layouts for each client.. it can handle
powerpoint, html, all kinds of stuff.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>We’ve got about 14 tvs active on
it across our campus but only 2 clients right now. I keep the computers
in our server room and use ZV100s (zeevee.com – but you can buy their older
units on ebay for $300 or so) to modulate HD Clear QAM over coax to them.. then
simply change the channel on the TVs to get what I want. The client
computers have TV tuner cards in them that we run a video feed from the main
service into.. inside of our XIBO layouts, we embed a section of HTML that uses
the VLC IE plugin to display the video.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
